The Faith and Science Church Toolkit
Faith is often perceived as the opposite of science. While younger generations are becoming more engaged in scientific exploration through technology, engineering, and math, the church seems disengaging from these topics. In these deeply polarizing times, no divide could be more harmful for human flourishing than the divide between science and faith. This divide fosters apprehensions among Christians about careers in STEM, creates skepticism about scientific advances, and makes church leaders and pastors wary of what appears to be technology's secular influence.
The Project Team
TMS Global is a mission-centric non-profit organization that has been serving the needs of the global church since 1984. The team members from this organization have a unique experience in connecting with and understanding specific strategies for dispelling barriers to spreading
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In addition, team members have been chosen for their scienceand science education backgrounds, which uniquely position them to have strategic input to the project.
Soulfire International Ministries, is a non-profit organization of church and parachurch professionals who have decades of experience in research, survey design and development, strategic planning and curriculum development.
These experienced professionals are well-suited to identify the gaps, determine the needs and design effective tools which could be used to effectively inculcate congregations and participants with a curriculum which will promote greater knowledge of the intersection of and synergies between science and faith.
